Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS build started as an all original
rust-free California car, and it retains all its original body
panels. The car has been professionally customized into a full
Pro-Touring driver's car using ultra high-end components and an
open-wallet build. Updates include a fully modified body tub to
accept a 4-wheel independently suspended Roadster Shop chassis, as
well as a 700hp Mast Motorsports LS7 427ci V8 engine and a TREMEC
6-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. Braking is
provided by Brembo 6-piston calipers working with cross-drilled and
slotted 14-inch rotors. All drivetrain components - including the
Ford 9-inch independent rear end, stainless 3-inch exhaust with
Borla mufflers and Forgeline wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Super
Sport tires - were built exclusively for this car. The chassis
incorporates Penske double adjustable coilover shocks and a fully
adjustable suspension. Adjustments include ride height, sway bars
and brake bias. The interior has been fully customized
incorporating Alcantara and leather with the latest technology,
including power RECARO seats, billet aluminum pedals and a custom
dash full of digital instruments with analog dials. The center
cluster has been modified to accept an Alpine advanced navigation
system and a seamless high-end sound system with back-up camera.
Other highlights inside include a completely upgraded air
conditioning and heating system, power rack & pinion steering,
Nardi steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel,
power trunk and keyless entry. It also includes true carbon-fiber
inner fenders and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The
car is currently registered, passes state inspection and has been
driven over 600 miles since completion with no issues. Photos
before and during the build, as well as all receipts and a dyno
report, accompany the car.
