Vehicle Description
This 1970 Chevrolet short-bed 4x4 pickup Resto-Mod includes over
1,200 hours in this complete frame-off build. The rock-solid body
was completely stripped, top to bottom. The underside was epoxy
primed and coated with U-Pol Raptor protective coating for chip and
sound control. All metal was epoxy primed and finished off with
Axalta urethane paint. The frame, radiator support, inner fenders,
and axles are finished with a powder coat or urethane paint. It
features a new GM Connect-and-Cruise LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine
factory-rated with 430hp. The engine is paired with a 4L75E 4-speed
automatic overdrive transmission and the original NP-205 transfer
case. The front and rear axles are upgraded to 4.11 gears, with a
rear differential locker, and all new bearings and seals. The
engine is cooled by a DeWitt aluminum radiator. The showroom
condition interior includes all new upholstery with high-back
reclining seats, carpet, and weather stripping. The interior
comfort is handled by a Vintage Air heating and cooling system.
Dashboard includes Dakota Digital RTX instrument cluster, Ididit
tilt steering column, reproduction AM/FM stereo, and a complete new
Painless wiring harness. This pickup has less than 200 miles since
completion in November 2019. It rides on new alloy wheels with
33/12.50/15 Goodyear tires.
