UPDATE: FINALLY AVAILABLE TO SHOW.
Low-slung, narrow, sleek and sporty, the Jaguar XJ6 is a smooth, fast design with lots of bells and whistles. Handsomely styled as its famous British brethren the XKE and MKIII, mine is Nautilus Blue (named after the deep diving sea creature), unique for how it changes hues in vary shades of daylight just like the Caribbean does (from darkish blue to hints of greenish blue). Plus it has a MOON ROOF to let in the sky and wind.
I was shopping for a BMW Roadster when I saw this in the lot. It was the lot owner’s personal car (his golf clubs were in the trunk). Wow. What a looker. I made a crack about my ex-wife wanting one in the 1980s and the Jaguar brand's bad reputation back then. The lot owner told me about the improvements Ford made when it owned Jaguar—he said the 95, 96 and 97 models were a great value. I decided to take it for a quick spin: Fifteen minutes and one speeding ticket later (it had such a silky feel!), the owner got his clubs and I got this Jag.
I’ve had it for about five years. I'd hoped this would be my “forever” car but I was badly injured in a wreck so must sell.
NEW Michelin tires have less than 5,000 miles. AutoCraft Gold Group battery is less than a month old.
Repair history includes headliner, cup holder/console, brakes, struts, rack-pinion steering, and ignition coil. The stereo conversion kit from England waiting in the trunk if you want to upgrade the sound system.
I’m sure there’s other things you might want to do...and at this price you can afford to.
Come get it and enjoy the ride!
