Vehicle Description
Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's
Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful
1965 Chevy Nova Restomod!!
Yep, that's right, the Pawluk brothers are way outside their
comfort zone with a real live 65 Nova Restomod. Only one reason we
have it- Its COOL!! And no, not Grandpa Cool but real live young
person's cool.
Here's the story as was told to us when we took this beauty on
trade for a new Camaro.
The Nova was under construction in Wapakoneta with the intent the
car was going to go to SEMA. OK this is a quiz, what is Wapakoneta
famous for? That's right Buckeyes its Neil Armstrong, illustrious
Purdue grad and oh yea, THE FIRST MAN TO EVER SET FOOT ON THE
MOON!! Ok enough of the history lesson. So, the SEMA project
stalls, and the car is left idle for over a year in an unheated
garage- Yikes. We have no reason why it stalled- personal? Money?
Who knows it just did.
Enter our man who rescues it and finishes it out, to a very high
level we might add. He starts with a 383 ATK Stroker Motor from
Summit making 425 HP and 470 ft pounds of torque. The engine that
was in the car had a cracked block from its storage because it
never got any antifreeze. Lucky us. This rascal is FAST. Not
wanting to go fast and not stop of course it has 4-wheel disc
brakes. The rear end is a 3.73 built by L&M in Vermillion Ohio.
New automatic trans, new radiator, new heater core, new wheels, new
carpet and interior and before you know it the car is finished out.
To the best of our knowledge the car has about 500 break in miles
and all is well. We have no receipts for prior work we simply will
stand on the fact that the car is done to a very high level and
this was of no concern to us when we took it on trade.
If you are looking at the photos of the car and the underside I'm
going to go out on a limb and say you may know more about how this
car is built than we do. I can say one thing for sure- we know
quality when we see it. There are a few minor things left that can
be done-a drivers mirror needs installed and a couple of other
minor items.
We also realize that a restomod needs Air-conditioning for most of
you out there. We are willing and prepared to install Vintage Air
in this car for a very reasonable 2500.00 if you so choose.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel
expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially
misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel
expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold
our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet.... We pride
ourselves on having good cars and representing them properly.
