Vehicle Description
This 1978 Bronco is a beautiful frame-off restored SUV. Look at the
pictures of this vehicle, especially the underside. Very nicely
done. This was a lifelong California Bronco and it shows. The Metal
appears to be all original Ford Steel. The body looks excellent as
does the paint and they restored the undercarriage completely as
well. They added all new suspension, steering, brakes, bushings,
etc. The interior is also new and looks just as good as the
exterior. The seats appear to be leather and they are comfortable.
They added Dyna-Mat on the floors, doors, and side panels which
insulates and makes it quiet too! The dash was restored as well and
looks amazing...all gauges work and it even has the original radio.
This is only a 2-3 year old restoration.
This Bronco was restored mechanically as well. It has a fresh,
mildly built 460 V8 that was bored .30 over with all new internals,
mild cam, ported and worked heads, matched intake and it sounds
awesome with the dual flowmaster exhaust. This thing runs awesome
and the C6 Automatic Transmission shifts great!! It has a NP205
Transfer Case, Dana 44 Front End, 9 Inch Rear End, New radiator,
and the list goes on. It looks like nothing was untouched on this
Bronco. The Drivetrain has only 2600 miles on it since being
done.
This is a Show and Go Bronco that you will be proud to own. It has
the Hard Top, that you can see in the pics, but it also has a new
SoftTopper Soft Top that comes with it and has been installed once
or twice. As a bonus this rig also comes with the AC kit from
Classic AC which includes all of the parts you need to add AC. It
also comes with brackets to add the AC. As far as we know this is
complete, but you may need a couple of other small items.
