Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1974 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition and has been fully restored. This TR6 has been nicely restored over the last few years and comes with numerous restoration receipts and service records and several restoration photos in a three ring binder. This TR6 is completely rust free and solid and has excellent lines and gaps around the car. This TR6 has been nicely restored and features a superb paint job in factory Pimento Red, a restored interior, several restoration receipts and photos, and a great running original drive line. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Red exterior over Black interior.
Exterior
The Red exterior is in fantastic restored condition. This TR6 was treated to a recent re paint and looks excellent in its fresh coat of Red paint. The paint is in excellent condition and has a nice shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the lines and gaps are excellent on this TR6. The underside is very solid with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or frame. Both bumpers are in good shape and look good on the car. The tires have excellent tread left but are little oversize at 215/75/15. The OEM wheels are in great condition with newer trim rings. The convertible top was recently replaced and is in like new condition. All weather stripping and seals are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with and comes with jack and tools. A working set of driving/fog lights were added and work off a toggle switch. All glass is original Triple XXX glass.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in very nice restored condition. This TR6 interior was originally Chestnut but the previous owner liked black and changed it over to Black. The seat covers are in like new condition and are very comfortable with supportive foam. The carpet was replaced and is like new as well with no major wear or holes or stains. The door panels were replaced and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The dash pad is in excellent condition and so is the dash wood surround and both were recently replaced. An upgraded stereo was added and sounds good in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, horn, stereo, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well and rides very tight with no rattles. The previous owner of this special TR6 kept meticulous care of this car and saved all of their service records and receipts from the restoration and several restoration photos as well. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were recently serviced with new calipers, new pads, and new hoses. The clutch operates well and shifting is smooth with no clunking and the slave cylinder was recently replaced. The exhaust is in great condition and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds and was recently replaced. New rear and front suspension parts were added as seen in the receipts and photos. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
