Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS was the recipient of a high-end
professional, rotisserie restoration and Pro-Touring custom build
with no-expense-spared. Over 2,000 man-hours were invested, and
high-quality components with great attention to detail were used
throughout. This RS/SS was originally outfitted with a 396ci V8 and
is now powered by a 502ci V8 Chevrolet crate engine bored to 540ci.
The engine is fitted with steel ported and polished heads, and
titanium valves. It's equipped with an ISKY roller cam and rockers
along with a 7-quart oil pan, 850 cfm carburetor, high-capacity
electric fuel pump, MSD ignition and a custom-fabricated air
cleaner. The engine is mated to a Muncie M21 4-speed manual
transmission with custom gears turning a Dana 60 rear end with
Strange spool complete with 4.56 gears and 40-spline axles. It's
sitting on a complete air-ride suspension system with remote
control, tubular A-arms with coilovers and ceramic-coated Sanderson
headers with custom 3-inch stainless-steel side-exit exhaust. It's
also equipped with a Billet Specialties serpentine belt system with
Vintage Air. All hoses and lines are braided steel with chrome fuel
lines and a chrome mini-starter. Stopping power is courtesy of
Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with 6-piston calipers. It is finished
in House of Kolor Molly Orange, complemented by the custom tan
leather interior featuring a timeless 1959 Chevrolet Impala dash
complete with AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-lite gauges. The front
bucket seats, headliner, rear compartment and door panels are
custom creations using imported Italian leather. A custom leather
console is present with an AutoMeter Pro-Comp tachometer and a
chrome Hurst T-handle. Other features include power windows and an
Ididit tilt steering column.
