2018 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, #51 of just 68 built. The original
Ford Mustang Cobra Jet was introduced to the market in 1968 and
debuted at the Winter Nationals. Right out of the box, the Cobra
Jet dominated drag racing. The 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet is the
latest in drag-racing technology, delivering speed and consistency
for NHRA Stock and Super Stock Racing. This is a drag-racing car,
race-prepped and turn-key for NHRA racing, and is not street legal.
The car has the exclusive 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet badging,
serialized for collectability. The Cobra Jet is powered by a
5.2-liter Coyote engine with a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger mated
to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Out back, the car has a Ford
9-inch solid rear axle with a drag-racing suspension system, as
well as a "Funny Car" roll cage optimized for rigidity and safety.
The Cobra Jet also features FIA race seats and unique racing
wheels. The Mustang is accompanied by an extra engine and an extra
