As rugged as they come, the Toyota FJ Land Cruiser is a true
body-on-frame SUV with world class off-road capability. These
traits have earned the FJs legions of loyal fans for many years. At

FJ43 in our collection. It's a 1981 model with the 2F Toyota inline
six cylinder good for 135 horsepower and 210 lb/ft of torque. With
a four speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case, you
can traverse nearly any terrain. Aisin locking hubs assure that the
front wheels are pulling their share of the load. You'll notice
that the frame has been neatly painted glossy black and that all
the shocks, springs, and associated suspension hardware are new,
giving the truck a fresh look. The interior features Toyota's dual
facing rear seats, a clever configuration that gave the FJ some
extra room over its competitors. The interior has a nice patina to
it while still presenting very well. The seats, steering wheel,
floor mats, etc. are the original style and look great. Indicative
of the serious off-road intentions of the vehicle, it sports a full
set of five fresh Specialty Tires of America on/off road tires.
They'll do the job anywhere and they give this FJ an all-business
attitude. The body style is the hardtop with the curved glass rear
windows. The upright configuration is roomy and functional with
