23,821 actual miles! This Bird has the very desirable red with red
accents on the interior. Really, it's from a fussy collector. Every
car I have ever bought from him is detailed meticulously. He is the
2nd owner, bought it in Florida from the 1st owner 2 years ago.
EXTERIOR: Ford did an outstanding job of capturing the vibe of the
original two-seat Thunderbird sports car and meshing it with modern
technology. Upfront you can see the similarities with the original
55. Chrome grill, round bumper features and a scoop on the hood. In
back it has the round tail lights like the original. Has a rich
looking black cloth power top with a glass heated rear window. The
top is fully automatic with the press of a button. The lift off
hardtop is painted red and of course has the legendary porthole
windows. The car practically looks new. I just went around the
entire car and didn't find any flaws. The paint is polished slick,
jambs are spotless. Weatherstrips are excellent, glass is crystal
clear. Has a new set of tires.
INTERIOR: What a difference the optional red accents in the
interior makes. It includes red on the steering wheel, shift knob,
throughout the console and seat inserts. Genuine soft leather, full
of power accessories- windows, locks, seat even the steering wheel
has a power tilt-telescopic. Nice looking white face gauges,
premium stereo with a 6 CD loader. Interior is also pristine,
practically brand new. Never smoked in. Still has the glovebox
pouch with manuals, extra key fob and literature.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: It is as it left the factory. Still spotlessly
clean. Has an all aluminum 3.9 V-8 with 32 valves and electronic
throttle control.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Also still new looking. Fully lined including
bottom of the trunk. A red car cover is included.
UNDERSIDE: Obviously a nice weather car. No corrosion, no damage.
It still has factory stickers and markings. There is independent
suspension and disc brakes at all 4 corners. Has a stainless true
dual exhaust system.
This is a great car if you are feeling a little nostalgic but want
reliability and comforts of a new car. Very comfortable and easy
cars to operate, yet sporty and fun at the same time. I think they
are a lot of car for the money!
