What we have here is a completely restored 1958 Chevrolet Del Ray
Resto-Mod (2 Door Sedan) with 8,400 miles on the odometer (stopped
working in 2016 coincident with the new engine install) and
approximately 1,000 since that install. Also, her complete
restoration took place at around 5,000 miles. This car is finished
in Blue Metallic - which is complemented by a White and Blue Vinyl
interior. Overall this car is in exceptional condition and is a
great example of a classic Chevrolet Del Ray that has been upgraded
for performance and comfort.
This 1958 Chevrolet Del Ray Resto-Mod, 2 Door Sedan, is powered by
her 2016 Chevrolet Factory 355 roller motor with flat top pistons
and a new 4bbl Edlebrock carburetor. She runs beautifully - and
fast. This engine is coupled to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission
with a B&M shift kit and a 1800-2100 stall torque converter.
The rear end is a brand new Eaton Posi rear end with 355 gear ratio
from Summit Racing. Here are some important facts about the
