for sale. This G-Wagon was recently professionally imported to the
United States and is ready to be registered. It is powered by a
2.8L I6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The
drivetrain sends power to all four wheels and features a locking
front and rear differential.
The G-Wagon vehicles were produced by Mercedes-Benz and Puch to be
the ultimate go-anywhere and survive all conditions vehicles. Their
durability over the years is legendary and simply calling these
vehicles all-terrain SUVs is an incredible insult. This is a 1983
280 GE 4x4 model adapted for firefighting service in Europe. It
features a special emergency vehicle Red paint that was applied
over the original Olive Green paint. Other exterior features
include working flashing lights and a rear-mounted spare tire.
The coolest part of this G-Wagon is the tan and black plaid seats.
They are in great condition and look so good. Mounted on the
dashboard are the buttons to control all of the fun emergency
equipment. Behind the two front seats is a wood divider that
separates the front from the diamond metal-plated rear area. This
280GE has been legally imported to the United States and is ready
to join a collection, become a super capable, fun weekend toy.
