This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has a very cool red-on-red

The second-generation Trans Am was a seriously intimidating
package. The wide ground effects in front of the wheel wells,

some serious care, but also it gives the Firebird T/A an aggressive

that covers the whole dash panel really stands out. Inside of that
is a full gauge package, including Pontiac's cool tach/clock combo.

good eye on maintenance. The V8 inhales through four-barrel
carburetor living under that hood shaker, and an upgrade to long
tube headers and a newer stainless dual exhaust means it exhales
with power and a sweeter rumble. Power steering, power brakes
w/discs up front, sway bars front & rear, the numbers-matching
three-speed automatic transmission complete a package that delivers
