Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. Check out this cool piece of street rod
history. This 1939 Pontiac Business Coupe was built by Tommy Foster
and is a phenomenal build quality. Finished almost 30 years ago,
this Business Coupe still looks like a fresh restoration and is
ready to take home trophies from every show you visit. Some of
Tommy Foster's builds are featured in museums, but this one could
be the feature of your collection. The exterior is painted in a
stunning Teal Metallic paint that really glistens in the sun. Add
to that a ton of chrome and brightwork, cool Pontiac touches
everywhere you look, and fender skirts and you've got yourself one
cool custom cruiser. Pontiac made sure you knew exactly what you
were driving with the Pontiac head on the hood, exhaust tips and
steering wheel. Smoothies with white wall radial tires take you
right back to the glory days of hot rods! Inside features a white
vinyl bench seat with matching door panels and rear panels with the
Pontiac emblem embroidered in red. The Banjo steering wheel and
white face gauges look great and are sure to garner attention at
car shows. "Tommy" has been engraved into the shifter handle by the
builder himself. An under-dash A/C unit has been added and fits
right in with other options like power windows and power steering.
Under the hood sits a Chevrolet 283 CID V8 engine backed by a
2-Speed Powerglide transmission with rack and pinion steering makes
for easy driving. The trunk is tastefully done with carpet so you
can store your chairs and a cooler! Tommy Foster's work has been
the focus of Hot Rodder History, Hot Rod Network and many magazine
articles over the years. His most famous build was "Tommy's Car", a
1932 Ford Roadster. But we think this car is just as cool! For
