Vehicle Description
A brand-new C5 Corvette modified chassis and a fuel-injected LS1 V8
engine with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission highlight this
custom 1958 Corvette. The body and hardtop were lengthened
five-inches to mate with the modified C5 chassis and to provide
extra interior space, with increased room for the driver and
passenger. The engine compartment is dressed in a retro style.
Conveniences include power steering, power brakes, power trunk lid,
and Vintage Air. The exterior is finished in black with a custom
hood and includes a molded C5 decklid that surrounds the seats. The
red interior features Italian leather upholstery, lowered seats and
a tilt steering wheel. The driver's-side dash is derived from the
C5-era Corvette, while the passenger's side is C1. This vehicle
rides on Z06 wheels. This customized Corvette has been judged under
the new National Corvette Restoration Society Concours standards
and scored 99.6 out of a possible 100 points. The judging sheets
are included with the vehicle. The composition of the C1 style and
the C5 technological advancements have been brought together in a
well-defined package that has approximately 1,500 miles since this
