Vehicle Description
This Woody has a custom-built 289ci V8 Mercury Flathead engine with
a pair of new Stromberg 97s carburetors and new Offenhauser heads.
The power is handled by a 3-speed manual overdrive transmission.
Other features include a 12-volt system with all-new wiring,
electronic ignition and alternator, Sanderson headers and Fatman
dropped spindles. The black exterior is highlighted with woodwork
by Ron Heiden. Inside, there is a new tan interior with Porsche
square-weave carpet, three seats and an AM/FM radio with an iPod
jack. This 1950 Ford includes a roof-mounted bamboo rack with a
9-foot-6-inch O'Neil longboard.
