Vehicle Description
This custom 1961 Impala SS bubbletop was the recipient of a
professional rotisserie restoration and high-quality custom build.
It is powered by a 409ci V8 with dual-quad carburetors, roller
camshaft, ported and polished heads, roller timing gear and chain.
The engine is highlighted by a Billet Specialties serpentine belt
system, Edelbrock Elite Series valve covers and air cleaners, MSD
electronic distributor, Sanderson coated headers and
stainless-steel exhaust. A BorgWarner 4-speed manual transmission
turns a new Johns 9-inch Ford rear end with 3.55 gears. This
bubbletop features RideTech MuscleBar Strong Arm front suspension
with adjustable coilovers and sway bar. The rear suspension has
adjustable shocks, sway bar and welded on traction bars. It also
has Vintage Air, power steering and Wilwood power disc brakes on
all four corners. It has a new custom radiator with electronic
fans, new power steering box and linkage. It is stunningly finished
in two-tone black with a white roof complemented by its red
interior. The car sits on chrome wheels, 20-inch in the back and
18-inch up front.
