Vehicle Description
This factory documented Tiger Gold GTO convertible is a nicely
restored example. It features the factory-original YS code 389ci V8
engine with an upgraded optional Tri-Power backed by its factory
automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in new two-stage
base coat/clear coat PPG paint applied in late 2019. The interior
is refinished in its original black with factory bucket seats and
center console. All chrome and brightwork present very well, along
with soft seals and felts. Options include power steering, power
brakes, power top, top boot and optional Hurst mag wheels with
correct-style red-striped bias tires. Produced on July 21, 1965,
and delivered new to Sedars Pontiac-Cadillac Inc. in Mason City,
IA, this documented example comes with its factory-original
warranty booklet with Protect-O-Plate, PHS paperwork and a Pontiac
Division Window Sticker.
