Vehicle Description
This 1976 Pontiac Trans Am began as a straight, rust-free Oklahoma
project that was crafted using some of the very best components
available, from its original concept to its late 2019 completion.
This full rotisserie build was developed specifically for the owner
to drive and enjoy. There have been very few test miles since
completion. It is powered by a GM Performance Connect and Cruise
LS3 6.2-liter V8 crate engine that is kept cool by an Afco Racing
cross-flow aluminum radiator and fans. A Billet Specialties Tru
Trac serpentine system run the accessories, including Vintage Air
Magnum IV. The engine is paired to a TREMEC T56 Super Magnum
6-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter, Bowler billet
shifter bezel and boot. A QA1 carbon-fiber driveshaft linked to a
Moser 9-inch Ford third member with 3.70 gears and 31-spline axles
help put the power to the pavement. It also features Detroit Speed
stainless-steel headers with a 2-1/2-inch stainless-steel exhaust
and MagnaFlow Performance mufflers. This Pontiac rides on a Detroit
Speed front hydroformed subframe with tubular upper and lower
control arms, JRI coilover shocks, splined anti-roll bar, C6
steering knuckles and bearing packs with power rack & pinion
steering. The body is finished in a PPG Black base coat/clear coat
accented in flat black where appropriate and features custom
graphics, flush-mount front and rear glass was also installed.
