Vehicle Description
This 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible received a frame-up
restoration. It features a 292ci V8 engine, a recently overhauled
3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission and a stock rear end.
The stainless steel welded exhaust system is complemented by Red's
Headers. Additional upgrades include 12-volt electrical system,
heavy-duty electronic fuel pump and an electronic ignition system.
It also features European driving lights, which were available on
foreign models. Recent modifications include a new power steering
arm, a carburetor kit, and rewired oil and temperature sensors. The
exterior is finished in Goldenrod Yellow offset by a yellow and
black interior. Matching fender skirts, an original owner's manual
and the old dual-point distributor are included.
