1957 DODGE CORONET 2DR SEDAN, ONE OWNER, LOW MILEAGE, UNRESTORED AND NICE.
This beautiful 1957 Dodge Coronet was sold new in Soccoro, New Mexico and it stayed there with the original owner until recently.
He ordered the car with the 325 V8, Torqueflite 3 speed transmission with push buttons, tinted glass, dual rear exterior mirrors, the large DeLuxe stainless gravel guards, clock etc. And the Dodge also has the very rare see through plastic sunvisors and dual exhaust outlets in the back etc plus an original, NOS chrome guard for the fuel filler door.
We got the car as an 100% original and untouched car with only 84.100 miles on it. The original owner put most of the miles on the car in the 60's and it has not seen many miles during the last 50 years! The owner stopped driving the Dodge 15-20 years ago at age 85.
We have done a ton of service work on the car to make it a great running and driving car after the lengthy storage.
Boiled out fuel tank, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt brakes, rebuilt water pump and fuel pump, new dual exhaust system, new tail light lenses.
The original interior was very dry so we redid the complete interior in red/black as original. The steering wheel was rebuilt.
New battery. All locks and window mechanisms have been cleaned and lubricated.
The Dodge still has original aluminum keys that still work all locks, doors and trunk.
There was a dent in the rear bumper so we had it straightened and rechromed, trippel plated show chrome. The rest is original chrome and it is nice to very nice.
The car was originally all white and the white panels still carry the original paint since 1957, we did add the red recently.
The Dodge is not a show car with thin original paint and a small ding here and there but it's something as rare as an unrestored and very nice 1957 Dodge 2dr car.
