Vehicle Description
This is a 1966 Chevelle LSx Pro Touring build up for sale. The car
has gone through an incredible transformation into a completely
updated restomod Pro Touring Chevelle. Nope, it's not a 138 code
car, and who cares? It's undergone a complete restoration and lots
of subtle fabrication, with just the original body, frame and some
trim remaining. The paint is Granite Crystal Metallic with Black
trim. The bumpers have been smoothed and painted to match as well
as the entire undercarriage and engine bay. The fire wall has been
cleaned up and has a custom transmission tunnel built to fit the
larger 6L80 trans. It has a 6.0 L76 engine that was original to a
Pontiac G8, but is essentially an LS3 (minus 0.2 Liters, or 12
cubic inches) with the 821 rectangular port heads. The displacement
on demand feature and small camshaft has been removed, and the
engine rebuilt with all of the correct necessary hardware including
new gaskets, seals, and ARP bolts. The Comp Cam that was installed
maxes out the available space for piston clearance without having
to use dished or cut pistons, and is still very street-able. All of
the valve train has been beefed up to support the larger cam. The
engine runs very strong with around 500+ crank hp. -Comp Cams
