Once again, we have a nicely built car that has an unconventional
engine under the hood to offer. Lift that heavy, steel hood and a
LS2 V8 pulled from a 2005 GTO greets you. With the popularity of
the LS swaps now days, maybe we shouldn't be surprised to find an
LS tucked in the engine bay of this curvy, classic Chevy. Every
angle of the exterior of this car is pleasing to the eye. Thanks in
part to a restoration that was completed a number of years ago. The
body has been finished in a Blue Metallic that is very close in
color to the original Windsor Blue (Code 428) that this car left
the factory in. Windsor Blue was a solid color, but the metallic
Blue hue that the car currently wears really accentuates this cars
curves. All the chrome trim on the exterior of the car is in great
condition including the bumpers. Inside, the simple yet attractive
interior looks great. Open the door and you see a very clean
interior featuring a pair of re-trimmed bench seats, simple metal
dashboard, and chrome speaker grille. A vintage look Classic
Industries gauge sits in plain view of the driver and houses a
speedometer, tachometer, voltmeter, temperature gauge, and fuel
gauge. More modern creature comforts include a neatly installed
Vintage Air air conditioning unit, cruise control, and modern
stereo and speakers. The heart of this sleek car is a LS2 pulled
from a '05 GTO. The front end is a Mustang II front end with power
steering to make it even easier to cruise in this antique car.
Power Brakes have also been installed to make stopping easier,
which is now more important since the engine has quite a bit more
power than the original unit. Thanks to the extra power produced by
the LS V8, this car is capable of surprising other V8 sports cars
at the traffic lights. Our client mentioned that he recently took a
lengthy road trip in this car and it performed great! This is a go
anywhere car with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning,
and cruise control.....not to mention an LS under the hood. The
timeless good looks, nicely restored exterior, and comfortable
interior add even more appeal to this Style Line. Be sure to check
