Vehicle Description
As civilian production ramped up again the public was introduced to
the 1946 Fords. This example is a 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe.
This 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe featured in black exterior and a
gray Lebaron Bonney interior has had some subtle hotrod
modifications. The 239 cubic inch legendary Flathead motor has an
Isky cam, dual carburetors with domed chrome air cleaners mounted
to an Edmunds aluminum intake manifold with Edelbrock aluminum head
with chrome water piping to complete the look. The electrical
system has been upgraded to a 12-volt system for easy starts and
reliability. Although inoperable there is the nostalgia of a
factory AM radio.
This smooth-running flathead moves this Ford effortlessly through
the 3-speed manual transmission and dual exhaust so you can cruise
the side roads or merge onto the highway with ease.
