Chevy V-8( 1958-1963 year range casting number) as well as a
Powerglide transmission. A cruise fan has been added to help keep
this truck running cool. This is a great looking truck. Nice two
tone paint job in purple and white. There are no signs of rust on
the body. The truck is clean inside and out. The wood bed is
beautiful with a dark finish that matches the body colors well. The
interior is finished in grey carpet and a tan vinyl seat. Nice
chrome baby moon wheels with lots of rubber on the tires. Nice wood
grain steering wheel. I drove it home about 70 miles with worn
kingpins when I bought it. We had new king pings installed and the
front end aligned. It steers much better but I think the big tires
on front do not help it. Be nice to have power steering. The man I
bought it from stripped it down and repainted it. It already had
the Chevy engine that runs great. The truck box was bad and he
could not repair it to his liking so he replaced the metal. It's
all serviced, safety checked and ready to go.
