Rolls-Royce Silver Spur that has spent most of its life in Southern
California. This is the most refined of the Silver Spurs and the
pinnacle of the Crewe built Rolls-Royce motorcars before the sale
of the company to BMW. And with a mere 49,000 miles and a thorough
major service, this car needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed
with the confidence that everything operates as it should. We love
the elegant and classic Magnolia livery complimented by the subtle
tan coach stripe. The paint overall is original and in very nice
condition. The front and rear bumpers show some abrasions from
normal use. These can easily be touched up, if so desired. The
alloy Rolls Royce wheels and chrome hub caps look timeless and
classic. The radials are new and being black walls add a sporting
look to its profile. The interior is resplendent and befitting of a
library or study in a fine estate. We don't recall seeing the
striking two tone leather before. The seats, door panels and
headliner are all fitted in two tone Sand and Parchment leather. It
looks stunning next to the wood dash, door caps and trim that is
burl walnut complimented with other veneers. The wood is all
original and in overall excellent condition. Only one small piece
of wood has a crack in the veneer, a flat piece in between the two
front seats. The light tan carpet is covered throughout with
champagne colored sheepskin mouton overlays for the ultimate in
luxury. It is extremely rare to find an original Rolls-Royce or
Bentley interior in this pristine condition. The Rolls is complete
with its toolkit, books, manuals, the phone for the rear seat
passengers and the remote for the AM/FM CD changer. The last of the
series Spurs benefited from the installation of a light boosted
turbocharger producing 300 hp and 442 ft lbs of torque from the
venerable 6.8 liter engine. This provides a perfect balance of
luxurious performance and dependability. Mechanically, this Rolls
has benefited from consistent and extensive servicing. The flawless
CARFAX shows 33 service entries in this 21 year old motorcar. Most
recently, the present owners have made sure all systems operate as
they should. The car performs beautifully and drives as it should.
