For Sale: 1948 Ford Coupe in Columbus, Ohio

Vehicle Description

Cruisin' Classics is proud to present to you this 1948 Ford Business Coupe. This beauty is a tribute to what hot rodding used to be back in the day. It has a few upgrades to make it more driver friendly as well. Disc brakes help it stop. A drop beam up front gives it a more aggressive stance. Under the hood, is a 239 C.I Flathead. It is topped with some extremely cool vintage hot rod parts such as Edelbrock heads and dual Stromberg Carbs with a MOON Racing Finned Polished Fuel rail to feed them. This 48' has such a great sound rumbling out from the dual exhaust fed by the headers up front. And of course, every real hot rod needs a manual transmission! The 3 Speed Manual transmission shifts excellent, without any noises or slipping. This particular beauty recently arrived from Montana, and it shows! It is exceptionally solid for it's age. The underside is very clean and tidy. Now, let's get into some more details of this coupe. The odometer reads 6936 miles.ENGINECode:59 On Bellhousing239 CIEdelbrock HeadsAluminum IntakeDual Stromberg CarburetorsHeadersChrome GeneratorChrome CoilPolished Fan ShroudMOON Racing Fuel RailTRANSMISSION3 Speed ManualNo PopoutsNo SlippingBRAKESManual BrakesDisc FrontDrum RearEXTERIORBlack Gloss Paint is ExceptionalVisorFender Skirts IncludedYellow Fog LightsSteel Wheels with Hubcaps and Beauty RingsDual Rear Exit ExhaustTinted WindowsBumper Guards IncludedExcellent Chrome and StainlessINTERIORBench SeatGray ClothGauges are Clean and Clear3 Speed Manual Floor ShiftUpgraded Ignition SwitchFunctional Interior Dome LightsFunctional AM RadioWindshield PrismThis stunning car is a blast from the past. It is exceptionally solid which is very hard to find on these cars. From top to bottom and front to back, it is just plain cool. Most of the time, these vintage hot rods are not enjoyable to drive, but this one is an exception. It handles well, and runs down the road at highway speeds.
