1963 Ferrari 250GTE: Desirable Series III Example with Matching Numbers
This 1963 Ferrari 250GTE Series III is an excellent original matching numbers car and a wonderful example for straightforward restoration. Born from the factory in an extremely attractive color combination of Grigio Argento (silver grey) with Rosso (red) Connolly Leather. At some point in its life the car was redone in black on black. Delivered new in Italy and imported to the US in the early 1970's. A very desirable and collectible late Series III car accompanied by its Marcel Massini history report. The motor is not currently running and the car needs to be mechanically overhauled at this time. Offered to the public for the first time in nearly 50 years. One of just 954 GTEs built.
