Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the
classic and muscle car business. Here's a car that Chevrolet
'forgot' to build. As all original first generation Camaro Z/28's
are competition oriented coupes with standard transmissions, this
1969 Camaro Convertible is an obvious tribute, but what a tribute!
This Tuxedo Black beauty is sporting a healthy 383 stroker that's
been fortified with aluminum heads, a high rise aluminum intake
manifold, Holley carburetor, Doug's long tube headers, HEI, an
aluminum water pump, and a Champion aluminum radiator. The 410 hp
and 480 lb/ft of torque are passed through a 700R4 automatic
transmission that's been treated to a Stage 2 upgrade by Patriot
Transmissions, then back to a 3.55:1 rear end. Additional goodies
include power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power
convertible top, tubular A-arms, subframe connectors, heavy duty
front and rear stabilizer bars, cowl hood, console with gauges,
wood-grained steering wheel, and nice Ridler wheels wrapped in
Firestone Firehawk radial tires (225/55R17 F, 235/55R17 R). The
paint is nice but has a few chips; not unusual for a car that was
built to DRIVE. The chrome, glass, trim, carpet, and upholstery are
very nice and the clean chassis and engine bay are evident in the
images. Also, despite being built as a comfortable cruiser, this
beauty will show its tail lights (quickly!) to an original DZ 302
Z/28. The most fun you'll ever have in a tanning machine! Street
Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist
with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
