Vehicle Description
The 3000 Mk II BT7 could accelerate from 0-60 in less than eleven
seconds, had a top speed of 113 MPH and only consumed a gallon of
fuel every 24 miles. Another interesting statistic is that most of
the Austin Healey 3000's made between 1959 and 1967 were exported,
mostly to the US. This particular "Driver Quality" Healey appeared
to be originally painted white and at sometime many, many years ago
was re-painted red. This car is in excellent mechanical condition
with a laundry list of items that have been replaced over the last
year. Some of the items are a complete new brake system with all
new hydraulic parts, hardware and friction material, the front
wheel bearings have been serviced are rear axle seals are new. The
hydraulic clutch is all new as is the suspension. The fuel tank has
been restored along with new fuel pump, hoses and sending unit, a
rebuilt triple carb setup is also functioning properly. All new
fresh air intake, hoses and fan, restored turn signal control
switch with all NOS parts and so much more. In addition a brand new
convertible top, frame, tonneau cover and side curtains were also
purchased. This is the best example for price on the market today
that starts, idles, accelerates and is ready to be enjoyed. There
is more to the list that has been done. If you are serious I can
send you a more detailed list by the consignor who is a collector
and hobbyist.
