Vehicle Description
STK 2673 1951 Ford Panel Truck
This 1951 Ford panel truck was partially restored back in the
mid-'90s. The solid vintage hauler is not a show car, but is full
of fun. The re-spray of Midnight Blue does not appear to be a
professional application and does have some areas showing patina.
However the nice stance, classic 3-tooth grill and old-school steel
wheels with 'dog-dish' hubcaps/trim rings deliver a great look. The
custom interior is fitted with a comfortable pair of front bucket
seats reupholstered in blue cloth, a refinished dash housing a
complete package of VDO gauges and a custom tilt-wheel with column
shifter. The entire rear area has been nicely upholstered, carpeted
and retrofitted with a pair of bench seats. There is also a fully
integrated A/C system, good window glass and an AM/FM/CD player
that fills the interior with great sounds. The engine compartment
is home for a rebuilt early-70's Chevy 350 and GM TH350 3-speed
automatic transmission. Electrics have been converted to 12-volt
and an electric fan controls engine cooling. The chassis has been
upgraded with a Gen1 Camaro front sub-frame assembly and the rear
differential was provided by a Gen2 Camaro (2.41:1 gears). Brakes
are power disc/drum with dual master cylinder and steering is also
power-assisted. This is a solid package. Our rare Ford panel truck
will not be in this inventory long. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
