For Sale: 1973 Chevrolet Blazer in Lavergne, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

Did you enter the Baja 1000 but forgot to prep a vehicle? Well, this 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer can have you covered! With a huge list of the best off-road components, sturdy construction, and big block V8 power, you're looking at one terrific vintage 4x4 that was built to quickly cover all terrains.

For many full-size Blazer fans, this is the one. It's one of the few years you could get the sturdy second-gen style with the full open-top experience. But the real distinction of this one is its upgraded machismo with genuine race-ready components. The lifted stance instantly signals this can take on any terrain, and that's just the beginning. You have a full custom cage that has matching tubular steel for the other custom pieces, such as the doors, swing-away mount for the full-size pare tire, and front brush guard. And speaking of the front, that beefy piece also has a full set of spotlights mounted on top and a 9,000-lbs. Warn winch below it. The bikini top, tow hooks, and custom cooler mount complete a package designed for serious off-road fun. And you also have a Parnelli Jones four-pin lift-off hood (remember he was known for more than just Broncos!) It's all finished in a recent application of red that makes this mean 4x4 quite bold, too. The full setup has been done with care, so if you choose to add back the full doors or a hardtop, they can be returned with ease.

Inside you can see more of how this one is ready for serious off-road business. It starts with Corbeau suspension seats for everyone (front & rear) that are mounted to the full cage. Everyone gets racing seatbelts, and it's especially nice on the Simpson harness for the front buckets. This is setup for being in far more remote areas than anyone else, and that's why it has been customized with upgrades, like a mounted professional jack, mounted toolbox, and full bedliner paint on the floor. You get a Momo steering wheel, central-mounted tach, and all the toggle switches you need are on your Cheetah Command Center console shifter with Turbo Action shifter.

Under the hood is serious big block power. And just like the rest of this Blazer, you can see it has been given recent investments to look clean and powerful. This is a 454 cubic-inch V8 built with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Jegs cast valve covers, a guarded K&N air filter, MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator w/electric fans, and dual remote oil filters. Plus, this fortified powerhouse makes a thunderous sound out of the header-fed dual exhaust. While you're checking out those pipes, don't forget to check out the undercarriage photos for all your favorite off-road upgrades. That means dual Ranchero shocks up front, greasable leaf shackles, custom rear carriers, 45-gallon fuel tank, and Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires on proper beadlock wheels. And no matter if this 4x4 is going across the Baja desert or just going on a grocery run, features like the stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and power brakes w/discs up front are always appreciated.

If you're the kind of person who likes to blaze your own trail, this is the right one for you. The fact that this heavily fortified 4x4 also happens to be a cool classic just makes it even more irresistible. Call today!!!
