Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1973 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition and priced to sell. This TR6 was restored over the years and looks great in Sienna Brown, its factory color, over Black interior. This TR6 has been nicely restored and features a nice paint job in Sienna Brown, a restored interior, rebuilt suspension and brakes, and a good running drive line. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Sienna Brown (23) exterior over Black interior. Several restoration photos can be seen in the gallery documenting the build. A list of work completed on the car can be seen in the photos as well.
Exterior
The Brown exterior is in nice restored condition. This TR6 was treated to a re paint a few years ago and the engine was removed as was the interior to respray the body, trunk area, engine bay, and interior area. Overall the paint shows well and has a nice gloss and great shine. The paint is not perfect but is nice driver quality repaint. The body is solid and the lines and gaps are nice on this TR6. The underside is very solid with no signs of visible rust and the floors were replaced prior to the repaint. Both bumpers are in good condition and the front bumper was re chromed. The Goodyear tires have great tread left and are sized 205/65/15 and the OEM wheels are restored with new center caps and lug nuts and come with new trim rings. The convertible top was replaced and is in good condition and works as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire and jack tools. Windshield has original Triple XXX glass and so do the doors.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in nice mostly restored condition. This TR6 was originally New Tan in color but was changed to Black some years ago and compliments the Brown exterior beautifully. The seat covers are in good overall condition especially for being original covers and are very comfortable with supportive foam. The carpet was replaced and is still in good overall condition with no major wear or holes. The door panels were replaced as well and are in good condition. The dash is in great overall condition and the wood surround looks great as well. A upgraded stereo was added and sounds good in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, stereo, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. Currently the horn is not working.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. We have driven this TR6 a few times and it performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an good driver that feels good on the road. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and the brakes were recently serviced with new calipers, hoses, pads, and rear wheel cylinders. The clutch operates well and shifting is good with no clunking and the rear differential was reinforced. The suspension was rebuilt with new parts front and back. The exhaust sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. All new heater and radiator hoses and clamps were also added. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. As with any older classic car fine tuning and routine maintenance enhances drive ability.
