in California, Nevada and Utah. So it is very clean and completely
Rust Free. It has an Accident Free History. It was driven less than
7,000 miles per year, so it has not been heavily driven. This car
was owned by an elderly couple and he recently passed away. He was
in the car business all is life and this was his baby. He had it
for a many years and took his wife out on dates in it. It has been

The release of the SL55 AMG marked a milestone for Mercedes-Benz.
The true marriage of Performance and Luxury had come together to
launch the AMG into Super-Car Status. It's MSRP was north of
$120,000 with options that could take you over $130,000.
Each AMG V-8 is hand-built in Affalterbach, Germany, from pieces
balanced and matched to work as a functional family. That alone,
plus the stroke increase to 5.5 liters, would be enough to make
many drivers happy, but AMG adds a high-pressure screw-type Lysholm
supercharger with Teflon-coated rotors to pump out 11.6 psi of
boost.
Check the motivational specs: 493 horsepower at 6100 rpm, 516
pound-feet of torque manifesting itself along a wonderfully flat
curve from 2650 to 4500 rpm. It's the most potent Benz ever offered
in North America, according to the manufacturer, and also the
quickest factory Benz ever tested: 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, 0 to 100
in 10.9, the quarter-mile in 13 seconds flat at 110 mph.
Mercedes' used their SpeedShift 6-speed automatic transmission and
it has steering-wheel-mounted shift buttons. The SpeedShift has 35
percent faster gear changes than previous automatics, plus an
"Optimum Gear Selection" mode that knows when to shift for max
acceleration and has the good sense to not upshift in the middle of
a corner.
Braking is equally impressive with huge vented discs (14.2 in.
front, 13.0 rear) and 8-piston calipers on the front.
This AMG is finished in Mars Red Metallic and a charcoal interior.
It is in excellent condition. The Convertible Hardtop retracts with
the push of a button in just over 10 sec. The retractable roll-bar
is power operated too.
