A timeless '60s fastback that features an impressively straight
body, this slick 'stang is the product of a professional, ground-up
build that was completed by Riley Performance Motorcars of Valley
View, Texas. That detailed manifestation stretched rich Vivid Black
2-stage under Candy Cobalt stripes. And today, this thoroughbred
rolls as one of the coolest, fastest, most lust worthy and most
exclusive Mustangs on the planet!
Wrapping youthful detailing in years of fastidious care, this
Shelby's aesthetics are a brilliant exercise in metallic
aggression. At the leading edge of this cool coupe, clear driving
lights, PIAA fog lamps and bright halogen headlights front classy
billet grilles, which line an Eleanor-style fascia. At the top of
those grilles, polished lanyards pin an aggressive hood in front of
fresh glass that's framed in straight trim, polished wipers,
bullet-style mirrors and sculpted pillar scoops. At the base of
that glass, Shelby fender caps, Shelby side scoops and a
Monza-style fuel filler cage traditional door handles and vivid
GT500SE emblems. And at the back of the car, sequential LED
taillights center a third GT500SE badge between a color-keyed
bumper a lightweight decklid and small PIAA reverse lamps.
SUPERCHARGED STROKER
Hoist the car's angular hood and you'll find 482 cubic inches of
supercharged Craft Performance stroker that twists stout 9.0 to 1
compression into 816 dyno-proven horses and 793 lb./ft. of
tire-twisting torque! At the top of that aluminum mill, polished
tubes channel wind between a polished Vortech blower, a remote air
cleaner and a polished Super Snake hat. That case rides a
lightweight Shelby intake, which feeds lightweight Edelbrock heads
that have been milled, bowl blended and CNC-ported. Those heads
stack stainless breathers and Shelby-style valve covers on JE
pistons, a billet SCAT crank, SCAT H-beam rods and a hydraulic
Bullet Racing roller cam. When those plugs pump the cylinders, a
hot MSD distributor sequences spark through loomed Craft
Performance ignition wires. Spent gases exit through coated JBA
long-tubes. A beefy Griffin radiator centers large SPAL puller fans
between a Shelby water pump and a Be Cool-capped Canton expansion
tank. A bright Concept One serpentine drive spins a coated AC
compressor opposite a polished Powermaster alternator. And details
like trick dipsticks, Aeromotive fuel components, aftermarket brace
bars and a deep-sump oil pan look right at home in the car's
technical engine bay.
RETRO LOOKS, MODERN PERFORMANCE
At the bottom of this Mustang, a freshened undercarriage houses
solid, undercoated floors that are bolted to a roster of top-notch
components. Behind the FE, a tough Tremec 5-speed kicks a familiar,
9-inch third member. That pumpkin pushes a full custom suspension,
which follows modern power rack-and-pinion steering with proven
VariShock coil-overs. Braking is equally class, with beefy
calipers, "SHELBY" branded clamps up front, clenching four drilled
and slotted rotors. Rowdy side-exit exhaust bends large-diameter,
hand-fabricated tubes around serious SpinTech mufflers. And torque
shakes the ground through Halibrand-style blades, which twist
polished spinners inside two 245/40ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force Sports
and two 275/40ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force Sports.
EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE
Swivel the doors and you'll find a fully restored cockpit that
mixes stylish black leather with fully upgraded comfort and
convenience. Front-and-center, bolstered buckets stretch tight
Super Snake skins under a tough roll bar and 4-point G-FORCE
harnesses. In front of those seats, an ornate, dual-cowl dash
centers Shelby-branded telemetry and a requisite Shelby signature
above modern air conditioning and modern Clarion audio. Below that
dash, a small Shelby shifter floats a themed nitrous button above
Kenwood kick speakers, metal Shelby foot pedals and clean Shelby
floor mats. In front of the driver, a polished and wood-rimmed
steering wheel laps a tilting column. And behind the passengers, a
clean trunk anchors a bright nitrous tank next to a billet-trimmed
Optima battery.
