Vehicle Description
This extremely rare and highly restored Pontiac GTO Convertible was
originally ordered and shipped to Pontiac Motor Division -
Engineering Development in Pontiac Michigan on October 15, 1969 for
use as a Pontiac Division company car. It was then re-invoiced and
transferred to the Pontiac Motor Division-Zone in Williamsville New
York on June 11, 1971. Finally, this car was invoiced and sent to
Win Gurney Pontiac Inc. in Syracuse New York on July 27, 1971 as an
"out of service" company car. It was then sold to its first retail
owner. Having been ordered new by Pontiac this GTO is highly
optioned. It is equipped with the 455 ci HO engine and turbo 400
automatic transmission. Additional options and accessories include
power front disc brakes, power steering, factory air conditioning,
hood mounted tachometer, cruise control, black vinyl upholstery
with center console, power windows, power door locks, power
operated black vinyl soft top, AM/FM radio with 8 track player,
Rally gauges and PMD wheels. Documentation that will accompany
purchase includes PHS documents, copy of September 1969 Motor Trend
