Vehicle Description
This 1955 Ford Customline Tudor sedan has been upgraded with a
hardy V8 power, great paint, an overdrive transmission, and an
outstanding interior. So you can read on for all the details, but
you already know this is a terrific cruiser to be seen in.
This one absolutely lives up to the "custom" part of the Customline
name. The dark red metallic paint instantly sets this apart to be
nothing like how this once came from the factory. That sets the
tone perfectly for this car. It has expertly shaved trim, and in
its place is pink pinstriping that allows for a cool understated
element. But the not all the custom pieces are so subtle. The rear
has a full color-matched custom bumper that gives this a smooth
look, and the Thunderbird-style taillights have been enlarged and
turned concave. And speaking of the T-bird, '55 was the first year
for that Ford legend, and this one celebrates that with a full
custom front end that was inspired by the 1st gen Thunderbird's
brilliant chrome. Add in details like the whitewall tires, full
polish wheel cover w/bullet centers, the lowered suspension, and
dual spotlights on display, and we're hard pressed to find even one
inch of the exterior that's stock.
Inside the custom attitude continues in a very bright package. In
fact, it's so sunny inside, you get a cool sunrise pattern on the
door panels and seats. Plus, the white seats w/red piping, red
carpeting, and two-tone dash give this the kind of fully
coordinated interior that people will remember and may even get you
a few awards. More custom pieces, like the dash pinstriping and
tall shifter combine with classic features like the dual-spoke
steering wheel and Plexiglas speedometer to deliver a great custom
cruiser look. And upgrades like the auxiliary gauge trio, an
AM/FM/CD player w/USB input, and subwoofer stereo system make this
easy to enjoy on a Sunday drive.
The engine bay has some extra flash, too, with the polished air
topper and other components. But what you'll really love is its
substance. This has been upgraded to Ford's mighty 289 V8. And it
has been enhanced further with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust. There are
great driving features that range from power brakes to a
toggle-operated electric fan. Plus, you have a four-speed automatic
transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive.
This is a truly custom Customline, and with all the work that has
going into it, you know the price is irresistible. Call
