Vehicle Description
Ever wonder what might result if you took an already capable
performance car and then enhanced it with an array of performance
upgrades, unbridled by any cost concerns? Wonder no longer. This
1999 Chevrolet Camaro Turbo 427 LSX is just that - it combines the
stunning appearance of a show car with the power of a drag racer,
resulting in one of the baddest street-legal cars you're ever
likely to see. The curb appeal alone on this classic must be seen
to be fully appreciated and the sheer power it possesses puts it in
truly rare company.
Unlike so many cars wielding exceptional power, this Camaro
possesses a thoroughly well-configured and precisely finished
appearance. As it rolls into view, you'll know right away that
you're seeing something special. There are no Frankenstein-ish
seams or excessive add-ons on display to disrupt the car's already
appealing balance, just a cohesive and well-thought out final
result. The black shade draped over the exterior represents the
original color and the paint is in great shape, showing none of the
concerning blemishes that can be amplified on a car of this shade.
The added ground effects are both effective and tasteful and have
been nicely blended into the mix and the exhilarating open air
driving experience this screamer of a ride offers comes via a T-Top
configuration that's in good order, with well-fitted panels that
insert easily into place and are protected by fresh seals to keep
the elements at bay. The stout pair of chrome exhaust tips peeking
out below the rear valance provides another clue that this is no
ordinary Camaro.
This Chevy's outstanding power comes at no expense to interior
comfort. The driving environment it offers is absolutely top notch,
with leather surfaces sporting a black and tan color scheme that
complement the outside of the car perfectly. Both the front buckets
and rear bench seat are still very clean, with the former accented
by embroidered Z28 on the seat backs and the latter offering an
unusual amount of support for rear passengers - a Chevy hallmark
for quite some time. This is a car that shines even when its
abilities aren't unleashed. Everything inside is functional,
including the assortment of factory gauges in the instrument panel,
and the comfort and convenience features are plentiful - the air
conditioning blows cold and strong and an AM/FM/CD stereo is in
place to fill the cabin with sound.
To refer to the 427 cubic inch LSX V8 beneath the hood that's been
professionally built by Vengeance Racing as "potent" wouldn't be
doing it anything approaching full justice. Its abilities are as
exceptional as it gets. Enhanced with a dizzying array of upgrades
that includes Trick Flow heads, a Bullseye turbo charger, upgraded
valves and much more, it churns out an unbelievable 870 rear wheel
horsepower on high-octane pump gas, if that's not enough add some
race gas, turn the boost up with the electronic waste gate and the
power increases to 1,050 rear wheel horsepower.. The exceptional
powerplant sends a commanding note out of its Magna Flow exhaust
that can be altered via cutouts in back as it teams with a 4L80E
transmission that was rebuilt only 1000 miles back and enhanced to
handle such high output. The Camaro's low stance and wide track
combine with BMR suspensions at both ends, as well as Bilstein
shocks, Eibach springs and a UMI performance swaybar, to deliver
slotcar-like handling, while power disc brakes at all four corners
that are armed with Wilwood six piston calipers provide world class
stopping ability.
Otherworldly power via a professionally configured top tier drive
train combines with a sharply finished, well maintained appearance
to make this 1999 Chevrolet Camaro Turbo 427 LSX a one of a kind
street machine. Call today!
