Last model year of the desirable Series III Roadster, with a powerful GM 454 big-block V8 on a reinforced Corvette chassis. This was a special-ordered car by a multiple-Excalibur owner and still in the same family. Only 2800 miles (Yes: twenty-eight hundred), always garaged & maintained. We have all the original delivery paperwork, including the sales invoice, window sticker, copy of the MSO and the original owner’s manual, plus extra handbooks for the stereo, A/C and cruise control.
The car’s order specified genuine chrome wire wheels (all 6) at an extra cost then of $1500, not the usual wire hubcaps. It has the convertible soft top plus rare optional hard top with a suede headliner, chrome luggage rack with matching trunk, side curtains in their protective sleeves, plus full leather upholstery and air shocks. A particular Mercedes deep blue paint was ordered, along with the exact paint color code. Tan pin striping to match the interior & top was specified.
Our shop has been maintaining the car in recent years, and has just completed a full brake overhaul that included new master cylinder and all four calipers. New Coker whitewalls were mounted and the car was given a full oil & coolant service, too. An on-board battery maintainer was fitted to keep this Roadster ready to be enjoyed!
