Ranked 2nd place in 1956 for Horsepower per Pound, out beating the Chevrolet’s Corvette and Ford’s Thunderbird. 1956 Golden Hawk was the only year that was powered by a Packard 352 V8 rated at 275HP and 385LBS/TQ. This car was restored years ago and was made even better by putting a Packard 374 V8 which rated at 290HP and 405LBS/TQ which looks identical to how the Packard 352 should have come out of the factory.
