Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Original steel body with older paint and patina. New clear coat over the whole truck. Very minimal rust on the body.
- Interior: Older seat cover with one tear on the far passenger side. Unmolested original dash with original gauges, some of them are functional and some are not. Brand new door panels, kick panels, and headliner.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good shape. Windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: New wood bed with fuel tank relocated under the bed.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free original frame and cab mounts. Some minimal rust in the step sides and on the cross member (see video inspection). Overall a solid truck with minimal rust issues.
- Wheels/Tires: Late model 6 lug wheels with new matching tires.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: Original 216 straight 6 starts easily and runs strong. 3 speed transmission shifts through all the gears as expected for a truck of this age. Minimal play in the steering, also consistent with trucks of this age. the truck is really fun to drive, not very fast like the old days. These are very easy to maintain and notoriously reliable.
- Lights/Electrical: Upgraded to 12V system with a new alternator. All of the lights function as they should. Interior dome light burnt out on me, needs to be changed to 12v bulb.
- Brakes: Brakes stop straight and strong.
