Talk About A Fast 68 Pro Touring Camaro. Well, Here it is! How
about 750hp? This is by Far the Best and Fastest 1968 Resto Mod
Camaro that we have owned or ever seen! The Last Owner and Builder
of this Camaro had over $135K invested into it. Only the Best of
the Best Parts were used. For starters, he bought a GM 572-720hp
Crate Engine, and then had HOGANS Build him a Custom Made Fast Fuel
Injected Intake, with Large Injectors, and 02 Sensors. It gets it's
fire through a complete MSD Ignition system, with built in REV Kit.
The Transmission is a Complete Tremec TKO 600 kit, with shifter,
speedometer, Crossmember, Driveshaft, and Hyd. Clutch. It is
supposed to hold up to 850hp. The Rear End was order from Currie
Enterprises, and is a Ford 4-Link 9 inch, Good up to 1000hp. Of
Course, it has a Complete Detroit Speed Mini-Tub Kit, so that the
Nitto 335x30x18 inch tires fit right in under it. The Complete
Front Sub-Frame was ordered from Detroit Speed Engineering and has
Tubular A-Arms, Power Rack-N-Pinion Steering, 4-Corner Adjustable
Coil Over Shocks, and a Heavy Duty Adjustable Front Sway Bar.
Detriot Speed Full Frame Connectors were also installed. Baer
4-Wheel Disc Brakes with crossed drilled and slotted rotors were
also installed. Ceramic Coated Hooker Big Tube Headers are Hooked
to Custom 3 inch pipes, and ran through Stainless MAGNAFLOW
mufflers. The gas tank is stainless and ordered from TANKS Inc. A
Custom built Ron Davis Alum. Radiator with Dual Electric fans keeps
this Beast Running Cool. A chrome 1 Wire 100 Amp Alternator keeps
everything charged. A complete New Painless Wiring Harness was
installed along with Dyna Mat throughout the entire car. Billet
Eddie Motorsports Hood Hinges, and Fesler Core Support Bars were
order and installed, along with Billet Door Seal Plates, and Billet
Door Jam Vents. I told you only the Best Parts were used! Also, a
Vintage A/C unit was installed to keep everyone Cool during the
Summer. The exterior was painted Crimson Red and is PPG Base Coat
Clear Coat Concept 2021. It has been sanded and Buffed to a Mirror
Finish. The fit and finish, door gaps, front end, trunk, and Body
Lines are as close to Perfect as I have ever seen. The Doors, Hood,
and Trunk open and Close Better than when it was New. The Camaro's
stance is Second to None. It sits on 17" and 18" Billet Specialties
Custom Wheels, with Special made 572 Center Caps. Now to the
Interior. The Seats and complete Interior was done with Pearl White
with Houndstooth Material inserted into both the seats, and the
Door Panels. A custom Built console was added, along with Auto
Meter Gauges. A Pioneer AM-FM CD i-pod Stereo was installed and
sound Great. A Flaming River Tilt Wheel, and a Comfort Grip
Steering Wheel was installed. Billet Door Jam Vents, Billet Door
Seal Plates, Billet Door Handles, Billet Window Cranks, and LOKAR
Billet Gas Pedal were also installed. All New Glass, Felts,
Rubbers, and internal door regulators were also installed. Cowl
Hood, Front & Rear Spoilers, and Tri-Bar HID Headlights finish off
this Awesome Camaro. I cannot find 1 single thing that is not New
on this Awesome Ride. This is a Camaro that you will have to see to
Believe! It has it all..! A 572-750hp Engine, Power Steering, Power
Disc Brakes, Vintage A/C, and 5-Speed... This Camaro was Built to
Show and Go! You MUST be a experienced DRIVER to Hold this Car
anything over half throttle. It is one of the Fastest Street Cars
that I have ever owned! PERIOD! This classic beast is located in
Hixson TN just north of Chattanooga.
