What Makes This Car Special
When Ford introduced the Mustang Fastback, like the one we have
Skyway Classics, they were strong performers, and ours was really
great as it has the big block 390 engine.
Mechanical Specs
It has the correct black scooped hood covering the 390 Cubic Inch
big block rated at 320 horsepower @4600 rpm and 427 ft. lb. of
torque @3200 rpm. It looks all factory stock with the correct Ford
Racing Blue air cleaner, valve covers, and engine block, power
steering and brakes, and all other factory components all sitting
in a very clean and detailed engine compartments.
The 390 is connected to a 3-speed Automatic transmission w/floor
console shifter, and a dual exhaust system, front disc brakes, and
the correct factory wheels Dunlap White Letter GT Qualifier
tires.
Interior
The period correct original interior features Black bucket seats
and molded door panels, floor mats, wood grain dash and center
console w/armrest, wood steering wheel & bright pedal pads complete
that 60's look.
Exterior
The exterior is really nice and has solid panels wrapped in
Wimbledon White paint with red stripes on the sides, blacked out
hood with the factory Ford hood scoop and hood pins, dual sport
mirrors, and side scoops.
Conclusion
This is a really sharp performance 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback we
have at Skyway Classics. The Mustang has all the right parts and is
not only a serious investment grade classic, but a fun driver.
