Vehicle Description
You can call this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro pro touring or a resto
mod...Labels don't matter when you play at this premium level of
modern LS3 fuel-injected power, performance suspension, four-wheel
discs, six-speed, custom A/C interior, and a seriously intimidating
presence.
We probably should call this paint black chrome. Its supremacy
comes from a serious investment in a professional hand applying the
midnight color over some of the crispest sheetmetal you'll ever
find. Then they added enough clearcoat to make it look like this
muscle car was forged from onyx. It has the full blackout
aggressive appearance, and that includes the bumpers, trim, chin
spoiler and full-width rear spoiler to complement the whole
package. And because this is a restomod, it has well-integrated
upgrades, like the HID headlights, LED sequential taillights, sport
mirrors, and a classic Corvette-style stinger hood. Plus, those RSV
Forged three-piece wheels not only fit in with the total blackout,
but they also have a hint of red to remind you this special Camaro
is out for blood.
Inside the full custom upgrade continues. It starts with those TMI
bucket seats up front. They have modern bolstering and finished in
supple leather with comfy inserts. And we especially love the red
stitching that give this an aggressive hint, just like the exterior
wheels. It's a well-coordinated package that continues on the rear
seats, custom door panels, dash, and center console. While this one
looks mean, it also offers all the right modern comforts, including
power windows, power locks, anti-theft system, cup holders, and a
full AM/FM/XM stereo with Bluetooth. Plus, there's cold-blowing air
conditioning. But while that will keep everyone happy, this custom
really focuses on the driver. You get Budnik steering wheel on a
Flaming River tilt column, and beyond that is a full set of Dakota
Digital gauges glowing red. And the stick shift has the perfect
modern grip.
While this custom Camaro has been impressive so far, we know your
favorite upgrade is under the hood. This is a 6.2-liter LS3
fuel-injected V8. Not only does this have the tidy look of a
professional installation, but also it has all the right added
components you want in an ultimate build like this. It includes BBK
fuel rails, Eddie Marine aluminum valve covers, an aluminum
radiator, a cold air intake, and headers. And this high-performance
V8 and its thunderous soundtrack is firmly in your command thanks
to the Tremec six-speed manual transmission. Even this has the
right supporting components, like a Ringbrothers clutch reservoir
and trans cooler. But it's more than just brute force that makes
this coupe great. Take a look at the undercarriage photos. You'll
notice a tubular A-arm front independent suspension from the
masters at Hotchkis. They are also responsible for the reinforced
rear end, too. Plus, with a Detroit Speed power steering box,
Wilwood drilled & slotted disc brakes, and grippy performance tires
at every corner, this is a classic Camaro capable of some very
modern moves.
This looks like such a fresh build because there's only about 1,320
miles on it since this Camaro's total transformation (10k on the
motor.) It's an amazing performance machine that's truly
one-of-a-kind. So your choice is to call today or risk missing out
on it forever!
