MOVING SALE PRICE $28,500 ...........1957 Chevrolet 150 2-dr wagon
DGC0266 VIN VA57O140266. I like wagons and this one stands out to
me. I like the color and the finish work. Very well detailed. It's
set up to drive or as some say "Pro Street" 350 V-8 with aluminum
heads and intake. 4 bbl. electronic ignition. Chrome headers. Power
disc brakes. Power steering and tilt column. New gas tank, exhaust
, shocks and front end. Body removed for paint in amber whiskey
(bronze). New chrome bumpers and grill and headlight bezels etc.
Stainless removed and polished. New windshield and smoked door
glass. New black interior in suede and leather. New carpet and
headliner. Seat belts. Runs very good and 4 speed transmission and
clutch shifts nicely. Rear end gears are reported to be new, but
has a low gear ratio. That means if you plan to drive long trips it
would be good to change the gear ratio. New front end. New rear
brakes and shocks. New hand brake and cables. Overall a # 7 out of
10. Paint is nice and shines. Probably tri-tone with fine glint,
typical of current colors. A few minor small imperfections but the
car shows well. Engine compartment looks very nice with new
aluminum radiator, insulation, battery and cables etc. Note that
heater has been removed and is a candidate for an AC CONVERSION. It
has a non working factory radio. Working horns but not hooked up to
new aftermarket steering wheel. The speedometer works to some
degree (way off!).
