What a nice truck! Clean and tidy in and out, top to bottom. Feels
and functions like new.
EXTERIOR: Beautiful. It's all clean metal. Has a very glossy red
finish front to back. The grill is painted silver. Has a frontier
smooth stainless bumpers. The emblems, hood moldings, door handles,
tail lights are replaced. All new glass and rubber gaskets.
Refinished oak slats with stainless strips for the bed floor. Has 5
restored wheels with deluxe Ford trim. 5 new meaty tires.
INTERIOR: The original radio is rebuilt with modern bluetooth
technology. Wipers upgraded to electric and turn signals were
added. The seat is rebuilt with new cushions and upholstery. New
rubber mat. New headliner, overhead light works. Factory gauges all
work. Steering wheel looks new, owner's manual in the glove box.
Door panels, armrests, window cranks and handles are new.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Just touch the starter button and it fires up
instantly and idles smooth. The Flathed V-8 has been completely
rebuilt. Upgraded from a generator to an alternator. Has electric
fan and new shroud. Carb and fuel pump look new. Updated with a
12-volt battery. Everything looks new. You can eat off the
motor.
UNDERSIDE: It has been thoroughly cleaned then neatly painted. The
metal floors are clean and black. The chassis is clean and painted
black. Bottom of the motor is spotless. 3-speed trans is spotless,
it shifts flawlessly. Brakes were redone. Has new dual exhaust with
Smithy glass pack mufflers.
I am very impressed. This truck runs and functions so well I would
feel confident taking it anywhere. These are old vehicles and every
once in a while you get one that feels really right......here it
is. Not a bad looker either!
