Vehicle Description
Here is a sought after 1st generation 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS.
Powered by the sought after big block 396 Cu In V8 and backed by
the original Muncie M21 4 speed manual. The motor was rebuilt to
stock specifications except for being bored .30 and the addition of
exhaust headers. The positraction rear axle has 3:73 gears.
Restored in 1986, this Camaro has been very well maintained and
presents very well. The exterior is finished in the original white
color and shows well for being almost 35 years old. The black vinyl
top is in excellent condition. The parchment interior with bucket
seats and center console, is in very good condition. The current
owner has owned this car for 21 years and is only the 3rd owner
since new. This particular Camaro runs and drives just as it
should. The healthy big block 396 moves this car with little
effort. Transmission shifts effortlessly and feels very tight. The
first generation Camaro's have always had a strong place in the
classic muscle car market and will continue to do so. Being such a
sought after vehicle, the specially optioned Camaros are becoming
more difficult to find in this good of condition and unmodified.
What better options is there besides the RS hideaway headlights,
big block 396, and 4 speed manual.
