Vehicle Description
In 1955, Ford launched a full-sized car with 6 body styles adding a
significant number of choices to the Ford lineup. The Fairlane,
named after Henry Ford's estate, offered a truly full-sized car
that was well-equipped and had great eye-appeal. It was a
successful part of the Ford lineup until 1970.
This 1969 Ford Farlane 500 Skyliner is nothing short of
extraordinary. The result of a tremendous restoration completed
last year, the car is presented correctly in it's exterior color of
Geranium with Colonial White power convertible hard top. The
exterior color scheme is carried through on the interior with
Geranium vinyl and Raven fabric striping. Throughout the interior
and exterior of this Skyliner, the attention to detail during the
restoration is evident. The highly detailed engine compartment
displays the 352ci V8 which is tied to an automatic transmission.
Features of this extremely well-equipped Skyliner include Power
Convertible Hard Top, Power Seat, Power Windows and
Air-Conditioning. This Skyliner is an absolute head-turner and a
tremendous example of one of Ford's most novel convertibles.
Unless otherwise stated, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
unknown if original.
