Vehicle Description
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS - Arizona Car - 'MO' Coded 302 V8 -

(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website

all left Chevy production plants with a number of things in common
- good looks, 302ci V8 under the hood, front power disc brakes, and
a 4-speed M21 Transmission. The engine was no bigger than a 302 due
to SCCA regulations stating that the engine must not be bigger than
305 cubic inches for the class that the Camaros competed in. This
Z/28 would be a blast to compete with on the track, or in an
autocross thanks to a number tasteful upgrades. This Z/28 left the
LosAngeles production plant finished in Butternut Yellow, although
it currently wears dark blue metallic with white stripes - the
result of an older repaint. The exterior is tidy with trim,
bumpers, and lights all left the way they would've been when the
car rolled off the production line. The solid body is original
other than a passenger side quarter fender being replaced quite
some time ago due to a collision. Inside the car, the familiar
first generation Camaro interior that features simple bucket seats,
easy to read gauges, and an easy to reach gear shifter is in very
good condition. Additional features that have been added to the
original interior consist of aftermarket speakers, Hurst shifter,
Grant steering wheel, and auxiliary gauges. Under the hood we find
a '68 Z/28 correct 'MO' coded 302ci V8 mated to an M21 4-speed
transmission. MSD ignition, Doug's Headers, and custom exhaust have
been added to the 302 V8, and simply put, this engine sounds great!
A Hurst shifter has been added to the Muncie transmission making
shifting a little smoother. Our client performed maintenance on the
car recently, and added some new parts: headers, exhaust,
suspension bushings, body mounts, a-arms, and clutch. Whether
competing in SCCA competition, car shows, or just driving the car
on the streets, the Z/28 Camaro you see is turn key, and ready to
enjoy. Make some room in your garage for this classic American
competition car. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on
