For Sale: 1953 Dodge Pickup in Lincoln, Nebraska (NE)

Vehicle Description

This rare 1953 Dodge 2-ton truck is a B4 HA. VIN #82615651. Cab & Chassis  -- Flathead 6 cylinder, 4 speed stick shift, 2 speed rear axle (Rubber vacuum diaphragm mechanism needs replacing but can be updated to electric). This Eatton differential is in great shape and probably worth $2000 by itself. 750-20 original tires. Used to be fire truck with water tank (removed) belonging to Nebraska National Guard with power take-off. 128 wheel base (distance between the two axles) is the shortest Dodge truck made at the time. No rust. Motor runs like new. Great condition but needs painting. Original rear tail and brake light still works. Trucks of this era were only required to have one tail light but there is a bracket on the other side if you want to add another one. Screw hole on roof where fire light used to be. Door glass missing and front and back windows cracked, but all flat and easily replaceable. Original seat cover material in good shape but seams near the doors have given out and need careful re-sewing. Odometer showing 6,353 miles. Clean title. Original 1953 Shop Manual for Dodge B1 through B4 trucks is included. Shipping can be arranged, but best if you come to Lincoln, NE to check it out yourself and pick it up. My father bought it in 1993 from State of Nebraska Military Department and needs to sell it to make room in his barn.
